The Supra Vision
The Supra VISION, or Video Information System with Integrated Onboard Network, is the brains of Supra’s “Rider Friendly” Boat Control. The Supra VISION system is more than just an LCD screen in the dash, it is a fully integrated boat control network that greatly improves the overall boating experience.You can create user profiles that automatically adjust ballast levels, SmartPlate levels and set cruise speeds for each user. You can view your location at all times with the GPS chartplotting and always find your way back to the dock with the built in tracking system.
You can access the multimedia system and control the stereo while also watching video from a tower camera or handheld camcorder. It is even possible to hook up your video iPod and watch instructional videos that you download from the web.
While there are several other color displays in the market, ours is the only system available that integrates ballast monitoring and control, speed based automatic SmartPlate control, true Zero Off GPS cruise, full GPS chart plotting with depth contours, iPod interfacing with dedicated multimedia page, automatic speed based stereo volume control, full engine diagnostics with code descriptions, dedicated day and night mode viewing, and much, much more.
But the real beauty of the Supra VISION system is when you use it. Over 3 years of development and testing has been spent to make sure the VISION system works properly and has a user interface that just makes sense. The developers spent hundreds of hours playing with user interfaces from all different types of similar systems (I-phones, handheld GPS units, smartphones, gaming systems, portable media players, integrated automotive control systems) and the end result is a powerful system that almost anyone can control immediately.
